After four great years at Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, I moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue a writing career. For the first few months, I wrote for The Advocate, which is the longest running gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender publication in the United States.
During my time with the magazine, my love for writing, journalism, comedy, and politics increased greatly, but I also realized that in order to enjoy writing, I had to do it on my terms, and simply rehashing the news wasn't going to cut it for me.
I started to write freelance and traveled the United States for a few months, relocating to New York City, where I lived for four years. I've been living in San Francisco since November 2015.
